More then familiar, Mark - the brake bridge and fastback cluster are identical. Adubbw told me that she was offered $300 to terminate the auction, and ddid so.

My guess is that the fellow selling it now is buying beat framesets right and left to refinish and flip for a hefty profit - not more then two weeks ago, he had a teal Paramount track for sale with a similarly overdone finish (i.e., far too much clearcoat to look original), along with those same, awful post-'63 Paramount downtube decal repops. Seems to work for him - $900+ for a refinished Paramount P-13 frameset has to be some sort of a record (especially for a modified example).

What surprises me is that anyone would spend $900+ on a with those decals - under the clear, no less. Never mind the modifications - they look rather snazzy at that, if slightly '80s-inclined - I simply couldn't live with those decals on my downtube, not even if the frame was $10 B.I.N.
