Like Mike I "SCORED" I always look around and under seller tables, LOW and behold! I found what I think is the buy of a life time! A pair of wheels! BUT what a pair, for an OldBrit to find, DUNLOP Special lightweight, real good chrome 27 1/14"rims 40 32 HOLES YET! built on a pair of high flange alloy 40 32 holes single free wheel UBS! AIRLITE! NO. NOT Airlite that would have been toooo much to expect, BUT NORMANDY French UBS! Oh well cant have everything! BUT fronts even have the Normandy Wing Nuts, anyone have a set of rear Normany wing nuts? NOW the REAL GOOD part, the tag on them said $30.00!!!!!! So I said to the chap "would you take Twenty Bucks!" What a cheek I have in my OLD age, Well he said OK if you are going to use them on BRIT bike, So on my 1954 Holland they Go. I left ASAP before the chap had sellers remorse!. Now for all you Colorado Vintage bike NUTs I have found in my home town of Parker Co, Creekside Bikes, Kirk Webster, who I understand is to have an article in Jans mag next month. Well Kirk is a vintage bike nut, restores on topic bikes, has some beauty's, his shop in the Denver area is unique, WELL worth a visit, Plus next to Buffalo Boyds bar with GREAT wings! On Parker Rd, on the north side of Parker, 12543 N Hgy83(ParkerRd) 720 8518600, give him a visit you will be surprised! Cheers John Crump OldeagleeyeBrit, Parker Co USA
