I talked with the guy on the phone just now, he bought it from a guy who got it in england as a bare frame, and 'parted it up.

I have an identically framed bike with similar cranks and brakes, SN# 1980. I think this might be a 'clubman' with 531 main tubes and forks and lightweight oversized rear triangle. Mine is about as light as my SB310 Ilkeston bike and has no braze-ons - like a pro carlton bike from the early 70's. His is 53cm x 56cm, so it has a long top-tube like a racing bike.

He will put up extra pictures and an email address very soon (justin.sadler@gmail.com). He is willing to ship the bike. He's selling it because the bike is a little bit too big for him.

Imho, at $400, it's a good deal (brooks pro + wheels + frame + track pedals =~ $400 of value right there, assuming all those parts are in good condition.)
