I am by NO means an expert on Merckx or Kessels bikes...But lemme throw in my 2 cents... It is my understanding that in addition to the common "gas pipe" bikes offered by Falcon, they also marketed a Nuovo-Record equipped upper tier bike in the early 70's. I saw a recent auction for a similar bike (perhaps even THE same bike) end on German recently. My guess was it was one of the said Falcons... [eBay auction number 320437336523]
