Hi Brian,

Bottle style Generators are distinguished by the side of the bike they mount on (when mounted toward the front of fork blades or seat stays).

You need one for left side mounting, often marked with an L (on packaging). Most Models should be available with either mount.

Soubitez made very light chromed plastic generators, that were frequent on french touring bikes and could be readily available and apropriated for the bike.

In doing so, the original owner trashed the stainless steel fenders in retro fitting a Union bottle-type dynamo (it is on the opposite side of the bike in the photo; sorry).? Anyway, I am looking for the proper replacement for both the fenders and the lighting system.

I might expect the orginals are English in origin, but there is no maker's mark or do I know of any English fender makers off hand.? Any suggestions for finding replacements (either new or nearly NOS)?

Again, any ideas on specific manufacturers/models to look for would be helpful.
