Well, it is awfully nice, but how do you put a value on it? A few years ago I purchased one of Mike Kone's NOS 1972 Masis for a friend here, a fellow in his 70s. We unwrapped it for the first time and set it up. He rides it everywhere. Now that is value. He gets to ride and enjoy a nice classic, and so what if he uses it up. When he is done with it, it will go on to someone else in pretty good shape, who can then say they are the "second owner". The original Pirellis didn't hold air so we sent them to the fellow in Florida who retubed them and he rode them until they finally rotted off the rims, so I am replacing them for him right now. That's what they are for, to be ridden and enjoyed. Just wish I had more time to ride mine.
