Hello All,

Incredible. The Italian Trade Commission was giving these books away at the Long Beach Bike Show (in the 80s). They had stacks upon stacks of them. Coincidently, Francesco Moser and Eddy Merckx were there, and happy to sign them.

There is an interesting book from the 80s called "Italian Bicycle Industry" The Buyers Guide.  It doesn't make any comparisons year to year.  It is full chock full of images from all the famous bike & component makers plus manufacturers of all thing from bikes to Brancale helmets & shoes, Fratelli Barro racks, Mondial headlights, Sergal clothing, Silca pumps, Superlux lights, Columbus tubing, Gusti Decalcomannie that apparently made a lot of the decals, Garelli lugs, Rizzato lugs, Regina freewheels etc.  i see the books at amazon used for about $67 but i wouldn't pay that...
