David, all... there appears to be a page where you can set your
preferences about recieving e-mails you send, or not... as well as a few
other settings. Apparently the default setting was changed from
recieving your own messages to not somewhere between my first sign-up and
my second (after a vacation). So, I'm putting this out there in case it
helps someone. If you want to change your default settings, go to
http://www.bikelist.org/

You can always check the CR Archives page for current updates at the following link to verify your postings. This gives an (almost) up to the minute listing of all postings/mailings... in order of their arrival.
_http://search.bikelist.org/query.asp?SearchString=&FMMod=-1d&FMModDate=&Sor tBy=MsgDate%5Ba%5D&Scope=classicrendezvous&RecordsPerPage=250_ (http://search.bikelist.org/query.asp?SearchString=&FMMod=-1d&FMModDate=&SortBy=MsgDate[a ]&Scope=classicrendezvous&RecordsPerPage=250)
BTW: Personally, to avoid a backlog of huge volumes of CR mail, I opted on the CR registration page to simply NOT receive any mail at all... and I then just check the above link (bookmarked on my PCs) as soon as I have the time. There is usually only a few minutes delay at most before I see my posts appear...
Cheers!
