This is another one of those times I am surprised at our different value perceptions of these old bikes and parts.

Imagine, finding an NOS Chater Lea crankset! The ultimate in sophistication and elegance on any bike from the 1930s and 40s!? Here we have a time machine item,? the absolute top level hotsy totsy set...For only $200!? When was the allst time anyone even saw a set of NOS Chater Leas for sale?

Hey, to each his own,? we are truly all different in our interests and attractions. That's what makes the world go round!? :)

Wow. It may not be a record, but it's got my attention. Over $200 for : CHATER-LEA RIGHT AND LEFT CRANKS,CHROME NOS Item number: 190288703811

They look great, and if it's what someone needs for a restoration, I comprehend (intellectually) but there are almost 4 days left on this and I'm watching out of sheer fascination.
