I am using a utilitaritan Gran Sport group on my 1975 Holdsworth Mistral except for the brakes because I need long reach. Although the frame and fork are full 531, I dont feel like the framework in general warrants a NR group which i have also. The GS just looks right on the frame. I wouldn't feel that way about Shimano 600.
