Subject: [CR] polchlopek frame

Hello, I am new to this website and you guys are way over my head in cycling knowledge. So, I thought I would throw something out to pick some brains. I have a Polchlopek road bike that I purchased used as a teen back in the early 80's. I was not sure if I could post a picture or not, so, I thought I would ask before doing so. The frame is painted in red, white, and blue stars and stripes. It has the original fork and is Columbus tubing. The paint is in good condition, and appears to be hand painted. The build is a normal style, no curved seat tube as some others I have seen on the net. At one time I had the build specs from the original owner, but I have been unable to find them for a long time and I am afraid they are gone for good. Currently the bike is built with Campy Nuovo Record. A fellow local cyclist (who may be on this list), has told me a few things about the bike, but I am wondering if anyone else has any knowledge or may know the value of the bike. I am not interested in selling it, as it was the culmination of my teenage years building the perfect roadbike. I still ride it a few times a year, and no other bike I have ever owned feels as good as this one. Although my last outing only lasted a few miles before a dry rooted tire blew out! Thanks for any and all information.
