I am running a set of Michelin Axials (reinforced with Kevlar) in 700 X 23 on my 82 Bob Jackson. I have had this wheelset for almost 30 years and have never had problems. The Michelins have a red line detail on the tan sidewalls which goes really well with the red detailing on the BJ badges and the red handlebar tape. Really sharp.

I just laced up a set of weinmann concave (belgium) rims and recalled the reason that at one time there really was not a tubular/clincher debate...

Anyway, I would like to put tires on them that would be a nice ride- thinking something a bit wider that suits the lower pressure suitable for a hookless clincher rim. Any suggestions?
