I have not checked the serial number with Mercian but I'm pretty sure this would be a late 70's frameset.
King of Mercia model. Reynolds 531 DB. Campagnolo ends.
Braze-on's: Over BB cable guides (cable housing type for the front derailleur), and cable stop for rear derailleur, "pip" on DT for clamp-on shifter.
I think they would have called this a 22", which is just about 56cm center to top on the seat-tube, and about 56cm center to center on the top-tube. Takes a 27.2 seat-post. Rear spacing is 120mm. Nutted style brake mounting.
Condition is excellent and looks like it was only ridden for a very short time. No dents or any damage. paint is overall very strong with a few small scratches and a bit of cloudiness in spots in the clear-coat. There's a scratch on the DT declas on one side, and paint loss from the clamp-on shifters. There's also a few small stains on the set-tube panel. The pics show it all.
Includes a mechanically perfect Campagnolo Nuovo record Headset, and a no-name seat-binder.
