Robbie,

Do you have any pictures of this frame?

Several years ago I bought a mid 70s Holdsworth on eBay. It was billed as Professional but turned out to be a WF Holdsworth Competizione in team kit. There's no chrome or fancy pinstriping and it has a Wagner flat top crown. It rides like a truck.

I bought it even though it probably wasn't a Professional because the components were worth more than I paid for the whole bike. I guess that I did OK. Besides, I liked the colours!

Last year I picked up a 1973 or earlier Professional frame SN 36024. The paint and decals are a little rough but there's no rust and the pinstriping is still beautiful. I should weigh the frame before I build it up. It feels like it's made of a very light gage Reynolds 531.
