Loose braze on

My Holand frame has a right side shifter braze on, This the tube that is threaded,?has come little loose. Now my questions,?Does the tube that goes into the braze on plate have a lip to prevent it from pulling out? Is it possible WITHOUT re brazing the thing, to glue or cement it so it tightens up? OR should I just bloody hacksaw it off and get band on shifters???? NOW a plug for (I THINK?) a CR member CYCLART. I for the above Holland frame wanted to have twin gear levers, WELL Cyclart had a real neat bracket, that I had not seen before ( Along with a number of other things I had NOT seen) made by "HURET", a clamp that gives a left side lever?boss. goes over the right side braze on. NOW you have a boss for both side levers NEAT! works to!?? ?PLUS Cyclart must have found a GOLD MINE full of Camapg NOS 50-60 gears, parts etc. HIGH RESERVE But I think, maybe, well worth it IF you are building a bike to be?complete with NOS kit.?
