Ken,
The particular cogs in question would be appropriate for the long running (...at least in terms of production ... NOT necessarily wear life) Maillard 700 Pro Team all alloy freewheel - the absolute lightest metallic freewheel ever produced. You can read further background information and view pictures of the one I have designated for "Show Only" use on my 1986 Vitus 979 Duralinox by following this link:

The eBay auction listing in question is the third attempt of which I am aware that the seller has offered this collection for sale in that venue. His original auction was a more traditional version without either a Reserve price or a "Buy-It-Now" option. For his first try, I tendered what I thought to be an aggressive snipe bid only to not break Reserve. His subsequent offerings have both included a "Buy-It-Now" price that went to prove how dreadfully inadequate my own bid must have been. As much as I would love to purchase the lot, my "desire" does not nearly approach $970 USD shipped.
As for your second question, the answer would be a decided "maybe". My personal recollection is that those Zicral alloy three notch slip fit freewheel cogs will indeed fit onto any Maillard or Sachs Maillard 700 series freewheel body such as the one slated for use on my 1975 Crescent Pepita 320 Professional (...I just got the frameset back from Elliot Bay Bicycles with its new paint, and it sure is "purdy") as seen here:

The only concern I would have (...simply because I cannot remember with absolute certainty and my own Maillard 700 Pro Team freewheel has already been packaged in preparation for moving because the Vitus 979 project is not destined for completion until after our relocation to the "Left Coast", hence I am unable to simply take it apart and trial fit all of its cogs onto those myriad other Maillard / Sachs Maillard 700 steel freewheels I still have sitting about) is whether those cogs which are threaded are similarly compatible across the entire spectrum of 700 series offerings (...I know for a fact that they will fit onto a standard 700 Course model - what I cannot recall is whether that holds true for the 700 Compact or 700 Sprint series). Also worthy of note, one would need be careful to use the proper 2160 and 2169 plastic rings in order to achieve the appropriate five, six, or seven speed stand off spacing they desired (...the ARIS eight speed I believe to be a wholly different freewheel body).

Which group of Maillard freewheels are these for? Do they fit the later Sachs Maillard Aris parts?
