I am building up a Grand Jubilee frame and am using a suntour front derailleur. I assume the original Huret Derailleur had an integrated cable stop where the new one does not. Anyone else have this situation and how did you route the cable? I have mine routed from the clamp on downtube cable stop, under the bottom bracket, and up to the derailleur with no cable housing. I assume that will be hard on the paint under the bottom bracket though. Any suggestions?
