Oh dear!...............I have a set, almost NOS complete with 'the much talked about' levers set aside for a project, [ironically with a 'Record' rear gear, subject of another current topic.]
I used to use them back in 72.....seemed ok then, even remember locking up my back wheel on a decent, so plenty of power there.
Also once had a set of mod 51s, and the lovely 61 center pulls [with the QR hangers] ...........left the 51s and my original 68s along with other 'now valuable' stuff in a box at my previous address when I moved!
Only thing I remember not being so good was, when the blocks wore down the distance between the cable clamp and the cable stop got very close to touching!
However, I think I will stick to my intentions of using them........but perhaps avoid some of the steep 25% hills around where I live.
