A note on FedEx Canada to US... first, I've shipped a lot of bikes over time, and the only times I've had problems have been with Canada/US FedEx. Apparently their customs clearance process is /very/ poor, and their handling is quite rough. I've learned to vastly overpack shipped bikes across the border due to poor handling. I've found USPS Air Priority (even with the size restrictions) to be price competitive and faster for customs clearance, and surprisingly better handled.

Just my $0.02 (US)
