Offered for sale currently on French Ebay, with about 15 hours to run, is a brand new Tommasini Pista Prestige.
This 51 cms frame is apparently one of a very LIMITED EDITION that the Italian maestro has recently built..with this particular one, according to the seller, being made for one of Ideo's friends.
Made of lugged construction using ColumbusNeuron tubing, it is finished in gloss black with acres of chrome-plating. The chromed head-lugs are very fetching.
It is priced at 800 euros, with no bids on it to date..but there again the French traditionally do not like to pay much for a track frame, a phenomenon that explains why so many French-made track frames are very strictly utilitarian and often built from plain gauge tubing.
