Subject: Re: [CR] Market Slump?

On Ebay there is practically only one world market given the quantity of sales that cross borders and oceans even on items that are ostensibly only offered locally. When I saw that Cinelli auction with a bit of a rough bike with no clear evidence of original paint or decals, no chrome, of unknown provenance, small and limited photos and with a 3500USD starting bid I figured it'd close with no bids. I doubt the same auction would have received bids even two or three years ago. Auctions with super high preset starting bids often (usually?) end with no bids offered, the auction bidding dynamic can never establish any momentum on those.
