Grand Sports Yes, I know that's being nit-picky, but I spent the last few days reviewing & editing a 400 page report, and my tired little brain is still stuck in editing mode. Have to keep reminding "authors" that the spell-checker in their software does NOT detect when they accidentally omit the letter " L " from the word "public". There's always one. And it looks soooo professional in a slide presentation for a large audience. Made ME laugh. Some days that's half the battle.
Anyway, that bike is a mystery to me too. I like it. Serial number doesn't tell me anything, but that's my own ignorance of the non-lettered serials.
I think that headbadge style appeared around 1962, 63, (75th
anniversary of Raleigh?), and lingered on derailleur models into 1970 or 71.
Refer to second page of what I believe to be a 62 or 63-ish Raleigh
catalog on Bulgier's website. Never was able to confirm the year of
the catalog. Catalog number doesn't make a lot of sense.

AVA death stem. Don't know the full time frame for that component, but they were on some Raleigh Pros (white) and Internationals around 1970.
When did that style quick release appear on Weinmann brake levers? Is there a Weinmann time line out there somewhere? Just been wondering when the red button QRs were available.
You could paddle a canoe with those Huret shift levers. Don't know the time frame of those derailleurs.
