Rick, you miss the point. We are happy to share pictures with other enthusiasts for purposes you assume... But the problem exists that others swipe the pics for sham sales on eBay, or use in their web sites without attribution or permission, etc. We go to some lengths to make this images and would like to have some choice in their use....

On the other hand, isn't sharing a basic part of the CR List Philosophy?

If someone was to post pictures of say a Legnano restoration and I was about to restore a similar bicycle, I would be tempted to download those pictures to assist in my restoration.

I kind of wonder if someone who thinks that it is wrong to share pictures with other list members wouldn't be happier on the "RIAA Fanboys List" <g>
