Dear Jack,
>From the investigations that I have made and examination of a late 1960's PX-10 frame that I have, below are the main features that I am aware of (assuming the frame is painted white):

BB shell was painted white, with a stamped frame serial number The ellipse-shaped top ends of the back stays were painted black with a surrounding gold line. The seat pillar pinch-bolt lug was painted white The head lugs were painted black The fork crown was painted white, with chrome epaulettes The edges of the chromed forks (front that back) had gold lines where they meet the paint

Not sure of the exact date of when the change away from the Nervex Pro lugs occurred, but I think that it happened in 1971.

What is the serial number of your Peugeot? It is probably pretty close to the one on the frame that I have.

I hope that this helps.

All the best, Peter Rogers
