Dear fellow wheel turners, I, like so many know alls ,think I do just that, but like most humans I realise that there are time when I am fallable. One of these is now. Can someone tell me how to remove the flanges from my Harden LARGE FLANGE hub to rechrome the barrels. I am told they just screw off and are an interference fit, but Im sure they need to be set at the right intervals. Please inundate me with technical answers. I also have my short wheelbase Ephgrave , ex team, only one ever made,Tandem. It is fully equipped with Chater lea crancks/chainrings back and front and with all origional transfers. The bike is fitted with a cyclo gear but has track ends. It is the real thing. Im told by the Historian that there was apro track team riding in the 60s and this gad to be their frame. It is a complete bike on airlight hubs/ I dont have any pics at present but will to interested parties, I was going to Ebay it, but Im not very good at it, but, like removing hub flanges, Ill learn.
