I was looking at a brochure that I have for Eddy Merckx' Podio pedals. It features the colored bands of the Belgian flag, black, red and yellow. But also has a band of blue. I have pics of the world championship road race in Montreal in '74 and the Belgians are wearing blue jerseys with black, red and yellow stripes on the sleeves. What is the significance of the blue?
