http://www.sheldonbrown.com/shimano1973/pages/da5.html You can almost see the Shimano logo if you squint and use your imagination. Maybe somebody with some image manipulation skills can pull it up.

The cable guide looks different than anything I have in my stash and the bands appear tapered, more refined in cross section than my few examples of early lower level Shimano hardware.
