Thanks so much, Scott. Great info.
I would be using a 13-28 1/8" 4-speed freewheel. Since my Cyclo Benelux Tourist rear d would be mounted to the fork end via the claw, it'll be interesting to see if the chain will make the leap from the 22-tooth 3rd cog to the 28-tooth 4th cog. According to your info, it's a no-go, but we'll cross our fingers and see.
Thanks again for the help, proving once again that the CR Listers always come through in the clutch.

\r?\n> According to the 1953 Cyclo catalog.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Freewheel capacity.
\r?\n> 13-26 when mounted to fork end
\r?\n> 13-28 when using the chain stay clip or chain stay
\r?\n> braze on mounting.
\r?\n>
\r?\n> "A useful point to remember when fitting , when setting the
\r?\n> arm,
\r?\n> is to allow for one complete link of chain to bridge the
\r?\n> gap from
\r?\n> the where the chain leaves the low gear sprocket where it
\r?\n> meets
\r?\n> the actuating sprocket of the gear"
\r?\n>
\r?\n> I'm shifting over a Ultra 6 freewheel, it works fine.
\r?\n> How wide is a 1/8 5s speed freewheel vs a Ultra 6 ?
\r?\n>
\r?\n> Velo-Retro has a circa 1953 Cyclo catalog that includes
\r?\n> the setup instructions for the '54 Tourist mech.
