Thanks for the good info to those who contributed. I may just pass on it as it is in Michigan. It might make a good bike to have while visiting the homeland. Nobody ever dreamt of a Batavus, you bought them because that was what the bikeshop had. That even goes for the top of the line which had names like Competition, afaik bikes named after cities were second or third tier

But if it is in good nick you might want to keep it as a time capsule.
