Following the build of my rando almost obsessively, I've found Chris to be as driven as anyone I've met for methodically pushing the envelope of craftsmanship. If you check out his other albums linked below or just cruise the recent stuff that hasn't been separated into albums, his work is precise and very stylized. My randonneur is dramatically exceeding my original expectations of how the bike would turn out. Not quite built up, I'm not sure I'll even see it completed prior to NAHBS, but feel honored to have such a great piece of bike art to own soon. With the communication we've had throughout, I'm expecting it to ride just as nice as it looks. Wish I could see all of his bikes at the show ... and everyone elses. I'll just have to be satisfied with what comes back on the internet for a couple weeks. At least riding season is almost back upon us here in Maryland. Might just take off to get a ride in, in the upper 60's temperatures predicted this Friday.

Happy trails,

Dan Artley in Parkton, Maryland

That's Chris Bishop's stem, of course. And just wait until you see some of the rest of the stuff Chris has been cranking out lately, some of which can be seen at NAHBS shortly. Some pix of Dan Artley's new rando (and NAHBS show bike) are already getting exposure:

Of course there's also the frame that that stem goes on too:

Great stuff!
