Hello Everyone, I am offering the Galli Gillott for sale. It is a very fine
1959 Fleur de Lis track frame that has been modified with vertical dropouts
and gear cable brazeons. There is a 'divers helmet' on the chainstay and a
tunnel on the bracket. Front mech cable goes under the bracket. It has
bottle cage eyes and a brazeon on the rear brake bridge for a rear brake.
This work plus the white Imron paint job were done in the USA in the 1970's.
The frame was built by Ron Cooper and features his signature Fleur de lis
lugwork finely and evenly thinned. It comes equipped with a complete Galli
gruppo except for the Stronglight A9 headset. Bars and stem are 3TTT. Bars
are mod, Competitzione. Thre is a bit of rash on the tops of the 90mm stem.
The Galli components are really nice and show very little use. I like the
engineering and the fact it is a fresh look compared to the usual Campagnolo
kit. The rims are Mavic but the labels have been removed for the total black
and white look. The saddle is a black Unicanitor with the rails painted
white. There are photos here on flickr
