I thought at least a few of you (Neil Foddering at least) could appreciate my 1960 R O Harrison build.
I've had this guy for several years +.
I finally reamed the seat post and built the wheels this week.
When I got this I damaged both cotter pins entry thread by bashing it out of crank with a pedal spindle and vice grip.
Oh that Sheldon Brown! J
Suckers were really in there!! Took more than a few accurate blows to get em out, but bent the threading inward by doing so.
I found a little tiny tri file I've had no use for forever and cleared it out today.
IT WORKED.
Several members have contributed parts and advice to this build, so thanks.
The only track pedals I had left were the Campy gran sport.
Of course the spindle comes thru the other side of these thin crank arms.
Perhaps one of you have a nice Chater Lea track pedal set you'd like to contribute????
Kind regards,
Kevin McCaul
