Hello everyone.
Offering for sale a Raleigh Team Pro Track bike, complete for $1200 plus shipping, or interested in trades (read below).
Sold new in 1982 (I have the original receipt), but serial number dates frame to 1977.
Size is 22" which translates to 54cm seat tube ctc, 56cm top tube.
Full Campagnolo Pista group, TTT Bar/Stem, AVA rims, Christophe clips/straps, Cinelli plastic saddle, Milremo bar end plugs, original bar tape.
Purchased from the original owner, per him everything on the bike is original with the following exceptions:
Tires are old ones I had laying around - these are probably not usable though they hold air. I replaced the toe straps, old ones were rotted. Cinelli saddle instead of stock Brooks Pro Rear cog changed to a 14t from 15T - gearing is 46-14.
Condition is good to very good overall. Very little wear on components. Owner said he raced one season then it sat. Front end chrome has suffered, with pitting and a flake on the top of the crown and some worn off on a head lug. Chrome on components has some corrosion, especially the toe clips and BB lock ring. Some minor paint scratches, and transfers are marred in spots. One of the pedals has rash on the outside, including the dust cap.

Trades (partial or...) I'd be interested in:
Original paint frames/bikes 56-58cm ctc: late 1950's - 1960's British, not mass market but such as Condor, Hetchins, Hurlow, etc. Fancy lugs are nice. Path or sport touring. 1970's - 1980's American customs - prefer sport touring (Merz, Gordon, Columbine, etc.) Open to surprises with something interesting, uncommon, highest quality.
Working lots lately, please be patient - all responses will be replied to. Can accept PayPal.
