Wow, glad I can't afford to own an SUV! I might grow fat and dull before my time. Fortunately you won't find me behind (possibly under) the wheel of a Cadilliy Ack whatcha-ma-callit either, because one should never drive a car they can't pronounce the name of. I agree with you in that the charm of the bicycle is in it's simplicity in addition to how easy it is to build one to specific needs with simple hand tools and minimal fixturing. The bicycle frame is a marvelous and unique piece of equipment that epitomizes the union of man and machine to produce the most effecient machine known to man (calories per hour for distance traveled). It's 97% effecient from what I recollect.
