I nominate Bill Davidson frame maker for inclusion on the Classic
Rendezvous web site under the above heading. Bill has been building
excellent steel lugged frames since early 1970's. Go to his web site and
take a look for yourself. Davidson bicycles outside of Seattle are
perhaps not has well known as the other USA builders we list but just
ask Glenn Erickson another Seattle frame builder that we do have on our
list about Davidson's bicycles frames. I had the wonderful opportunity
to work door next to his shop for two years. Having know Bill since
1970's and followed his career in frame building it was a treat to talk
to him about the care and skill he brought to frame building. His lugs
are in my opinion the best manufactured. His painting of frames is par
none. I ride a Davidson mountain frame and marvel at it every time I
ride it. So consider adding Davidson frames to our web site.
