Oh, wow, does that Firenze story bring back memories. When I was a student at UW-Madison, there was an electronics store called "American TV" owned by "TV Lenny" that gave away free red Firenzes with any purchase over $50 (so you can guess what they cost wholesale!).

Some of my friends assembled them for about $3 or $4 per bike. Chris, are you out there? What was your record number of Firenzes assembled in one day?
