Hi Pete,

The bike was crammed on a shelf along with about 30 used bikes in a small room within a maze of little storage areas. The guys in the shop all referred to that room as the "used bike room" and said to "look around, it's all for sale." Given the beat condition the bike is in, sans wheelset and with such a hodge-podge of stuff I find it hard to imagine that it was being held for sentimental value. As a sentimental person myself, those type of items are treated with more care than this one was. You had to see where and how it was stored. Now to your point though, I'll ask Rob Koshar if he is uncomfortable that his employees sold it and I would certainly return it if he wanted it back. I am hoping to get details on how she was built up and would like to restore her to her former glory; I would hope that would mean something to Rob and would certainly be a better fate for the bike than the way she lay in such disregard down in that storage room.

I'll do the right thing.
