I just bought two pairs of model 135 randonneurs on eBay with Buy It Now for $25 each. The seller had good photos of the engravings which are elaborate, but different than the Rivendell models. The Rivendell ones have the same elaborate coat of arms on both sides, while the mod 135's have a coat of arms on one side and the model name inside a wreath on the other side. So actually the 135 is more similar to the old Cinellis, which also have the model name inside a wreath on the left side.

By the way, I measure the model 177 bars I have available for trade as 47 cm c-t-c at the ends and 45 cm c-t-c at the brake levers, so I'm not sure if that's what Rivendell calls 46 cm or 48 cm. Either way, too wide for me.

Wilson Bicycle Sales on the west coast comes to mind (of course....), and I do believe Quality stocks one or the other. And dealers in Texas might want to give Hans Johnsen Co in Dallas a call. So with that info, any bike shop can order it relatively easily. Momovelo and Jitensha studio- both in Berkeley CA- regularly stock the noodle and dream bars. There are others like Centerport Cycles on Lawn Guyland, that might have a couple.

Quality has stocked the Pearl stem in the past but I'm not so sure nowadays.

The engraving on the noodle and dream bars are ornate like the old Cinelli style.

> Anyone know who besides Rivendell sells Nitto model 176 (Dream) and 177 (Noodle) bars? Also, I note that both Harris Cycles and Bicycle Classics sell Nitto models with either Maes or Randonneur bends, which are less expensive than what Rivendell charges for model 176 or 177. Neither web site has a closeup photo of the engravings, however. Do these bars have the old-Cinelli-like elaborate crests, like Nitto 176 and 177, or do they have simpler engravings?
