Lou,

It's the 4th variant of top eye, I've found on the Scot's, and perhaps the most common for the marque. It does not fully wraparound the seat lug- in that the two stays have separate caps not plugs, that often - but not always - have their points touching in the middle. What the 'generic' term for this is I've no idea.

see http://www.flying-scot.co.uk/frame_dtl_pages/frame_seat_stay.html the fourth variant down.

Note that the mitre on the seat stay, seems cut quite high, in comparison to some of the older takes on the same joint - it may mean absolutely nothing - maybe just the difference in execution from one framebuilder to the next. Though at their peak they only ever had five framebuilders building the frames, they did of course change over the years.

A very nice Scot, in that apart from the later Zeus additions - that I'm sure could be relatively easily undone back to it's (probably) original Campagnolo state - is all but complete and quite original - plus the additional bonus of it being (a) a 'Ventoux' (b) in a "celeste" like colour (c) it's not a Masi (Frame number E=MC2)

Bob (absolutely no connection to the seller) suffering from the need for Imodium, but we won't go there...
