Could someone please tell me if there is a difference between the innards of NR road hub and a NR track hub? The cups and cones appear the same (at least to my untrained eye). What I am wondering is, would switching out a road, hollow axle with a Campy track axle, keeping the same cones and locknuts from the road hub, produce an alternative to buying a NR track hub?.
