I run a TA rack on the Weinmann c-pull on my townie bike, a '71 Raleigh Super Course which wouldn't be happy with a Mafac brake. It gets used for beer and groceries, never a handlebar bag.

I had to modify the rack to get it to fit the Weinmann though: Had to shorten the arms that go down to the plates that attach to the brake pivots. That involved unbrazing the plates, then rebrazing them after shortening the arms -- not something your typical CR member is going to want to try.

Since this ruins the chrome, you'd need to re-plate it, unless like me you didn't care too much how it looked. I shot the rebrazed areas with a little rattle-can fake-chrome paint, and in no time it was too dirty to really tell the difference... ;)
