Grant Handley use to own a bike shop in San Francisco called Planetary Gear and made numerous trips to Paris every year (sometimes six per year) looking for and buying up everything "constructeur" he could find. All this before the internet and eBay. Quite a large percent of the material wound up in Japan for some reason or other <grin>.

Grant had been quite a good Junior racer in his formative years from what I've heard.
