For sale to the list: Bianchi Specialissima (Campione del Mondo) Serial #164609 which should date this bike to 1964 Size: seat tube 54 C to T Top Tube 54 C to C Color: Fairly uncommon ruby red Stem: Ambrosio marked Bianchi Bars: Ambrosio Cahmpion Crankset: Campagnolo 170 Strada, old style 151 bolt circle Rings 49/52 Pedals: Campagnolo old style steel with toe strap loops Straps: Binda Extras Toe Clips: Christophe Derailleurs: Rear: Campagnolo old style Record Front: Campagnolo early parallelogram Shifters: Campagnolo downtube Head Set: Integrated Bianchi Hubs: Campagnolo Record (no record) 36/36 Saddle: Unicanitor black quilted Brakes: Universal 61 Centerpulls Tubing: Columbus Rims: Not sure, they have the remnants of green labels and I believe them to be Nisi tubulars. Tires: of no consequence

This bike is, for all practical purposes, all original. Cable housing, brake hoods (with small tear), toe straps, and tires have been replaced. Otherwise it is as it came out of the box. It has been ridden but the chrome is good, the paint ok with some small touch up spots, the decals all original but faded in some places. I am asking $2300 with Fedex ground shipping in the continental U.S.A.included. Shipping out of the country etc. would be at cost. Reasonable offers considered. Please contact off list if interested. Pictures available on request.

I have another set of wheels from the same period that are built 32/42 Campy record (no record hubs) with Ambrosio clincher rims (no tires or tubes) that I would consider swaping for what is now on the bike if the buy so desires. Edward Albert, Chappaqua, NY, USA
