If you were making a fake, why would you incorporate such an unusual feature that is bound to raise questions? That makes no sense.

There is no burden on the seller to prove anything, unless he is making some unusual claim such as previous ownership, and is pricing the item accordingly.

In this case it seems to me the seller is disclosing what he knows about the bike and is not claiming anything out of the ordinary, other than stating that the fork is rare, which does seem to be the case.

I don't appreciate it when a lister makes derogatory comments because he bears a grudge from an old dispute, which I suspect is the case here. Unless you have specific information about the item for sale that is contrary to what the seller is claiming, I don't want to hear it. Using this forum for personal revenge should be a banning offense.
